HOW IT ALL STARTED

Hello…and welcome to Scentual Soy Candle Co!

My name is Brittni, founder and candle maker behind this small at home business. Growing up I have always loved candles, especially when I was able to walk around candle stores like Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, and down the candle aisle at Target. As I got older, I enjoyed going to events such as art & craft fairs, festivals, and farmer’s markets where I began to find an interest in owning a small business created from learning and finding joy in a new hobby.

About three years ago, I attended an event in Brentwood California and there I met a vendor who makes wonderful candles. When I saw how much joy candle making brought her along with owning her own business, that’s when I realized I needed to start chasing after my own dream and turn my hobby into a reality.

Now, three years later married and with a son, I am happy to announce I finally made my dream come true! Starting a small business is not only a rewarding experience but an enriching challenge. I couldn’t have started my candle business without the help and support from my wonderful husband and family. They have shown me an endless amount of love and faith while I traveled down the path that brought me to my very own success.

My purpose is to craft unique special scents that will bring you joy and happiness like they do to me when making them. Each candle is carefully blended and tested to produce a natural, clean, and safe burn every time.
